The Telegraph reported a sniper from the Coldstream Guards, shot an insurgent at 850 meters last December in Kakaran Afghanistan.  The insurgent was wearing a suicide vest that detonated killing himself (if the bullet didn’t) and the five insurgents around him.  The Lance Corporal was supposedly using an L115A3 sniper rifle.
