Newsweek reports that British Member of Parliament Khalid Mahmood, estimates about 1,500 British Muslims joined extremists fighting in Iraq and Syria over the last three years.  Conservative estimates place the number of Brits fighting for Radical Islamic organizations at around 500.

There are about 600 Muslims wearing a British military uniform.

What is happening in British and US society that facilitates its citizens to join organizations that embrace violence to spread a radical form of Islam and why won’t we even address the question?
