SSG Patrick H. Quinn, 26, of Quarryville, Pa., was killed in action on 13 Oct 2013 in Paktika province from injuries suffered when his base was attacked with small-arms fire.  He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.  Quinn is survived by his wife and their three sons.  I pray that God assuage his family and friends grief and offer an inadequate deep thanks for SSG Quinn’s service and ultimate sacrifice.
