ATF lost 45 weapons ’09-‘13

Not a military story but I noticed this reported by Fox and just saw a huge difference with how a lost weapon is treated by the ATF.  The 45 lost or stolen weapons is across a group of 2400 agents.  That’s almost 2%.  If we had the same amount of loss across the Army, that would be almost 1000 weapons.  The ATF found a solution.  Instead of the extremely strict three day suspension without pay they lowered it to one and only one weapon was lost in 2013.  Glad they found an answer.
