Records reveal Oklahoma soldiers’ sacrifice in Afghanistan

The Oklahoman ran an essay highlighting the details surrounding several Oklahoman soldiers deaths.  The story revolves around a memorial unveiled at the Armed Forces Reserve Center in Norman honoring the 15 Oklahoma National Guard soldiers killed in action during the war on terror.  They run the gamut of causes ranging from IED’s, enemy fire, accidents and suicide.  The article is a poignant read and reminder of the stories behind some of the names of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.  Well worth the minute or two it will take you to read the story and an opportunity to offer a small token of respect by reading and remembering their stories.  See the article here.
